The City Panzio Matyas is located in the Budapest downtown just a couple of minutes from the pedestrian quarter and beautiful Vaci Street with its array of fine shops. Matyas restaurant which opened in 1904 serves traditional Hungarian specialities. The furnishings and fittings all recall the age and deeds of the great Hungarian ruler King Matthias (15th century). The lively mood is heightened by waiters and waitresses dressed in period costumes.
